Yingru Zhou received her BSc (Hons) in Genetics and Cell Biology from Dublin City University (DCU) in 2023. After conducting short-term research projects in the group of Prof. Silvia Giordani and being awarded a Breakthrough Cancer Research Summer Scholarship in 2023, she is currently in the first year of her PhD at DCU under the supervision of Prof. Silvia Giordani. Her research revolves around the modulation of carbon nanoparticles for biomedical applications.
